It has more to do with your prescription. if the power of your glasses or CL is stable (hasn’t changed) at least in one year and you fulfill other requirements determined with special exams you should be ready for surgery. this normally happens when you finish growing which is around 18-20 years.
    25 is way too old.

    I got lasiks at age 26. I would say wait until age 20 or 21 at least. And your vision must stay the same for 1 whole year before surgery. And you have to stop wearing contacts for months before surgery so your eyes can go back to their natural shape.
    My vision changed at age 24 or 25 (got worse) so it is a good thing I waited until age 26 to have the surgery.
    I recommend TLC vision centers by the way.

  3. Age doesn’t really matter that much, you need a stable prescription for atleast 1-2 years. If you are only 19 and have a 2 year stable prescription then its perfectly fine to have laser surgery at that age.
