You must see an opthamologist for a consultation. Laser surgery is not for everyone. My ex-husband decided to have it done, against the doctor’s orders, and his entire cornea came off – had to be glued back in place (risking a cornea transplant). It finally healed and has corrected vision in that eye, but the other eye is not corrected. Many people have had great success, but you still need to contact a doctor and find out what complications can occur and of course one is loss of vision. There is very little pain involved and it has lasting effects. Only you and your doctor will know if it’s right for you.
